For With the Needle that Sings in Her Heart
It's a burst - like full-ripe and
Wholesome everywhere, a conquering storm,
That's sailed the corners and lapped up one full
Everything, a pivot and drop to
Full bright kindle in
That heart and that mind and all light revolving
Spheric, global, further than true long reach and a
Song to reverberate and settle, for the good.

That would be amazing as spoken word poetry. It has such rhythm in my head. Gorgeous.
Why thank you, Jes. *grin* This one was written on a whim.
Hi Emma, I really like this! Falls so wonderfully on the page...saw your work at kipple too - would love to read more. Cheers, Vanessa
Hey, thank you for reading, Vanessa! I usually put bits and pieces up on here, and I'll let the world know if something finds a publication.
Cheers! :)
